From his days starting at Mott MacDonald through his work as a Partner & Global Director at IBM, George has built a global reputation as a thought leader and expert in how information technology and core engineering intersect with policy, planing and business to drive tangible projects and real ROI for his clients. For over eighteen years, via numerous engagements in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, he has represented clients large and small in industries ranging from government, education, energy and utilities, transportation & transit, telecommunications and public healthcare. He was the first Global Director of Strategy for what has since become IBM Smarter Cities practice. He drove global Sales for IBM Smarter Cities, and then spent years based in Beijing, driving IBM's Government & Smarter Cities business for Greater China. Practicing since the first internet boom, George has hands-on experience with how technology affects lives of people around the world.

With 20+ years of experience, Laura is seasoned Sales and Business Development professional with deep expertise in building teams, driving client relationships and closing sales. Among her roles, for over six years, Laura was responsible for a third of IBM's Public Sector business for Greater China. She was instrumental in the build out of IBM's Smarter Cities team for Greater China, and she led cross geography collaboration and sales performance analytics for IBM's Global General Manager for Public Sector for the Growth Markets. Laura is a known expert in driving business for the Government, Education and Smarter Cities industry verticals. Currently based in metro Washington DC, Laura is also a sought-after facilitator and translator for US-Chinese business collaborations.
